HI! My name is Jo Kiser and it is my privilege to be the Children’s Ministry Coordinator here at FBC Bridgeport. I spent 24 years teaching public school and now am blessed to be a part of the ministry team here at our church. I am married to Cecil Kiser and together, we have 3 married children and soon to be 11 grandchildren! We enjoy time with our family, taking the boat out fishing and serving together here at FBC.

In our Children’s area we have Discovery Zone where children are working through Gospel Project. This study helps students to build a foundation for understanding how the Bible is all one story that points to Christ and how God uses it to speak to us today. In addition, we have Wednesday night programs for children from 6:30-8:00 where we have fun together while growing in our journey to know God better!

Several years ago, the Lord lead me to pursue Biblical Counseling at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I received a certification in Biblical Counseling and am blessed to be able to offer this to individuals who are seeking God’s guidance in addressing today’s challenges.
